I first encountered plastic surgery in my ninth semester of medical school at the National University of Colombia, and I was struck by its beauty. During a two-week rotation in anesthesia, I had the fortune of witnessing the reconstruction of a baby born with a cleft lip, the reattachment of a thumb amputated by a carpenter's saw, and several surgeries on burn patients. It was love at first sight.  

That fascination led me to complete a four-year plastic surgery residency at the University of Antioquia, graduating in 1998. I practiced reconstructive and trauma surgery at Pablo Tobón Uribe Hospital, General Hospital of Medellín, León XIII Clinic, Las Américas Clinic, and Las Vegas Clinic, while treating my private aesthetic surgery patients in parallel.

Over the years, my private practice grew to occupy most of my time, and today I am fully dedicated to aesthetic and reconstructive surgery of the breast, body, nose, and hair. As a comprehensive plastic surgeon, I strive every day to give my best to my patients.

I have been invited to speak at conferences across Colombia, Latin America, the United States, and Europe.
