Dr. Maribel Rocío Caballero Granados is a physician and surgeon from Universidad Militar Nueva Granada (2012), with a specialization in Epidemiology from Universidad Autónoma de Bucaramanga (2018). Before joining Hero Institute, she built more than a decade of clinical practice in Bogotá and Boyacá, with an emphasis on home-based care, priority consultation, prenatal care, and palliative care, as well as experience within Colombia's military health system and occupational health projects.

She served as a medical intern at Hospital Militar Central and Hospital Meissen, and later as a rural physician at the Dispensario Médico of Batallón de Artillería No. 1 Tarqui (Sogamoso, Boyacá). Between 2014 and 2020 she combined outpatient consultation and prenatal care at Corporación Nuestra IPS, home-based care at Family Medical Assistance and Forja Empresas, and priority consultation at the Dispensario Médico Norte of the Dirección de Sanidad Militar. At Cepain IPS she led a clinical care team for close to two years as Médico Líder, training and supporting her team to maintain high standards of care.

Since June 2020, she has been part of Hero Institute's medical team in Bogotá, where she applies that foundation in epidemiology, patient safety, and quality management to the assessment, follow-up, and support of hair restoration patients. She is known for her sense of commitment, collaborative approach, and patient-centered care grounded in high ethical standards.
